This is the modern tune. It's been done in A but I've only got a C
harmonica, it's Australia day on Monday and there's no way I'm not
playin Australia's second national anthem!

I'm a bit sus on the 3blow note, I don't kno much about harmonicas
so it might be wrong. Jus do yer own thing with it.

 5 5 5 5 -4 -4
Once a jol-ly swag-man,
 4 -4 5 4 3 -3 4
Camped by a bil-la-bong,
3 4 5 6
Un-der the shade,
 6 6 6 6 6 6
Of a cool-i-bah tree,
 4 -4 5 5 5 -4 -4 -4
And he sang as he watched
 4 -4 5 4 3 -3 4
And waited til his bil-ly boi-led,
 3 4 5 6 -5 5 -4 -4 -4 4
Who'll come a-walt-zing Ma-til-da with me?

CHORUS
6 6 6 6 5 7 7 7 -7 -6
Walting Matilda, Waltzing Matilda
6 6 6 -6 6 6 6 -5 5 -4
who'll come a Watlzing Matilda with me
4 -4 5 5 5 -4 -4 -4
and he sang as he watched and
4 -4 5 4 3 -3 4
waited till his billy boiled
3 4 5 6 -5 5 -4 -4 -4 4
who'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me?

Down came a jumbuck to drink at the billabong,
Up jumped the swagman and grabbed him with glee,
And he sang as he shoved that jumbuck in his tucker bag,
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda.

CHORUS

Down came the squatter mounted on his thoroughbred
Down came the troopers one, two, three,
Whose that jolly jumbuck you've got in your tucker bag
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda.

CHORUS

Well up jumped the swagman and leapt into the billabong,
"You'll never catch me alive" said he,
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by the billabong,
Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?
